Bio-manufacturing Industrial Conference

Since its inception, it has been successfully held for six editions, bringing together academicians, experts, top global scholars, industry leaders, capital representatives, and other stakeholders. It has built a high-level exchange and cooperation platform integrating government, industry, academia, research, and capital, making it one of the most influential annual industry events in China's biomanufacturing sector. The holding of the Biomanufacturing Industry Conference marks that Shenzhen's biomanufacturing industry has entered a new stage driven by " Policy + Platform + Data". With the physical operation of the National Biomanufacturing Industry Innovation Center and the deepening of innovation synergy in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Shenzhen is accelerating the creation of a global highland for synthetic biology industrial innovation, injecting momentum into the cultivation of new productive forces.
On December 2, 2025, the 6th Bio-manufacturing Industrial Conference, themed "Synthetic Biomanufacturing, Reshaping Human Life", was successfully held at the Shenzhen Guangming Culture and Art Center. It gathered representatives from government, industry, academia, research, and capital, as well as guests from Hong Kong and Macao. Over 3,000 people attended the conference, and the live stream attracted nearly 13 million views. Multiple leading achievements were released at the conference, demonstrating China's hard power in this field and Shenzhen's "innovation density".Among them, the release of the annual Top 10 "Creation" New Products is a weathervane showing the innovation strength in the biomanufacturing field, witnessing every step of synthetic biotechnology's leap from the laboratory to industrial application. At the same time, following the roadshow project sessions, multiple teams successfully secured financing or reached industrial cooperation intentions through the conference platform.
To actively implement the national major deployments regarding the synthetic biology and biomanufacturing industries, the 7th Bio-manufacturing Industrial Conference in 2026 will be held on December 11, 2026 at the Shenzhen Guangming Culture and Art Center, building a top-tier stage for the display, matchmaking, and cooperation of global biomanufacturing innovation forces.
